Today is the day

Today Jesse gives his oral presentation for his PHD.

Dr. Carter is in the house!!!

He has been studying the conductivity of glass at the atomic level. When he rattles off his explanation you say, yeah, sure, makes sense. But then 5 minutes later I can't remember a word of it.

Here is a picture of Jesse!! Great guy. He and Tess will be moving to Pittsburgh sometime this summer. He got an offer from a company in Pittsburgh working for the government. Right now he is waiting for his security clearance.

He had to list everybody he knew on the security forms. He asked George and I if we had ever been arrested and we replied truthfully, not in this country.

Ha. We have not been arrested anywhere really. But I just love to see the look on peoples faces when I say that. Really gets people thinking that maybe there is more to us than meets the eye. And of course there is!!

We are very proud of Jesse and his accomplishments. He is excited to go to work for a company where it will be illegal for him to bring work home. He is tired of working 24/7 for his PHD. Working 40 hours a week will be a blessing.

Have a great day!!
