Okay there are all kinds of reasons that I like this page. These are all smiling pictures of Megan and I didn't know what to do with them so I cut them to the same size and laid them out in a grid pattern. I used some 'Basic Grey' brand paper which all coordinates and had one sheet which features Japanese lotus blossoms.You'll notice in the picture in the middle of the grid and the lower right hand corner that Megan is wearing a Kimono. I bought that for her shortly after she was born and she wore it for 3 Halloweens before she completely out grew it. Could this have been the beginning of her love for all things Japanese?
I had the title in mind as I worked on the layout but it took me all week to figure out where to put it and how to make it stand out. I layered it using coordinating papers. It is not the smoothest of cutting jobs but I think it looks awesome.
I used two chipboard flower shapes, covered with the same papers, and then used my markers to make them look like the flowers on the paper.
All in all a very successful layout.
